The Mexican association of municipal planning institute (AMIMP) is an association that was created on December 15th, 2003. Its goal is to represent and defend the interests of the Institutes of City Planning (IMPLANES) to the organizations that also deal with this subject. AMIMP is composed by 57 organizations that are gathered in three geographical regions (North, Center and South). This association was designed as a forum that allows dialogue, technical exchange about formation, urban and participative planning, in order to boost each institute.
